A1 Microgen
What is the A1 Microgen Scheme?
According to Ofgem's CERT 2008-2011 Supplier Guidance, "Microgeneration will only be considered eligible under CERT if the installer is accredited under MCS set up by BERR, or an alternative scheme". A1 are offering an alternative "A1 Microgen Scheme" to enable installers registered to access CERT funding.
A1 Microgen is a Quality Assurance process applicable and appropriate to the installation of microgeneration technologies and is FREE for Gas Safe or Oftec registered installers to join who have completed BPEC, Logic or Baxi / Worcester Bosch manufacturer training.
A1 Microgen will provide installers with any Quality Assurance support they don't currently have e.g. customer complaints procedure, to enable them to access funding.
Both Baxi and Worcester solar products are available through A1 Microgen.
